Sweet! I remember taking my first longer trip. I was driving pretty decent, but was still having some fun getting a few races in with an HHR SS that was on the same route as I was. I got back home on a round trip of about 150 miles, went and filled up, and found out that I got 26.5 MPG even with all of my messing around.

If you wash & wax it right before a road trip you'll get another mpg or 2. I got 29.5 going to the WI dells, did 68mph the whole way. Had AC on the lowest setting and also have 3.73 gears. I tached like 1750rpms

Was thinking about adding 373s when I had a bearing going bad, how does the car feel with that gear and is it quiet like stock?

I can't stand driving that slow. I still managed 26 mpg going 85-95 on a trip.

I went to south Dakota 2 years ago in the firebird....My A4 got 26/27 mpg average...including a couple 130-145mph pulls

I still love telling ricers that story when they say something like "You might have over 300hp, But I get over 32 mpg"
