Default 94 lt1 m6 firebird cam help

ive sat on here basically 12 hours a day for the last 3 days since i joined. heres the deal i knew some stuff before but learn more and more through the searches
i have a 94 firebird formula hardtop, blew out the head gaskets so im pulling the motor and while its out why not throw a cam in it. this is what i have currently and ordered on its way to me as we speak

im running the 3.42 gears and the t56 trans. i have a adj TA and TA relocation trans mount. eibach launch spring kit, c/e 3 ways in the back and looking to get a bmr drag bar for the back.

probably run the 255/55/16 drag radials on stock wheels i have a 40k short block that i re-ringed and bearing'd. im going to use the stock aluminum heads but took my dremel out and polished up the bowls and ports very mildly just to smooth things out. i did the same with the intake ports just a quick smoothing out. non vented opti. retain the a/c and power steering. im tossing up the idea of putting on the meziere water pump i have. along with LTs minus the air/egr. and a cheap CAI. zoom clutch already in the car

id like to keep the stock TB and valve covers on it along with stock injectors since it is just a budget build street car that will be up for sale as soon as i get it finished up.

id like to be into the mid 12's with it on a shelf cam, so all of you who have tried differnt cams what works the best? heres what ive come across on here so far what would you guys suggest?

cc503 with either 1.6s or 1.7s or
hotcam with 1.6s or 1.7s or
Advanced Inductions 218/226 112 LSA .540/.540 lift w/ a 1.6 rocker

if you have tried these what numbers have you run? im thinking about going to a 4.10 gear also and will the stock valve covers work for these cams with 1.6 or 1.7s?

im new to the gm stuff so like i said.........alot of hours running through posts and searching this is basically what ive come up with.

Whatever cam you chose the only way to make the most effective power is if you also take gear and tire into consideration. With any of the cams already mentioned using a 27" tire with 3.42 gears just won't fly. You'll end up bogging off the line and breaking parts. Depending on what cam you go with, especially on a 27" tire you want 4.10's at the minimum.
Best thing to do is research what kind of results others have gotten with the cam you are interested in, see what kind of setup they are running and decide from there, and of course, keep asking questions.

well i tried selling it as a stocker, so now im just going to have fun with it, if it sells, it sells if not ill have fun making noise.

i think the gm847 cam has the power band alittle higher than where i want it. im looking for something from idle or 1500-1800 to start the power band not 3000. it is still a stock short block and i dont intend to rev the **** outta the thing.

the given specs for the cc503 cam, does anyone know is that with 1.5 rockers or 1.6?

id like to put 26inch slicks on the stock 4th gen wheels and run those some too. i have a rear end from a 94 camaro that had an open 2 series carrier, that had 4.10s put in it and welded it like the ricers do. im alittle skeptical to run that though

tried a 28inch slick on my less than stock 93 z28 m6. (steel headed motor from a caprice.....long story) needless to say i got frustrated with the car falling on its face trying to leave the line. the last pass i made i dumped the clutch at 5200. it still fricken bogged on me! and loosened up all the rear lugnuts before the end of the track.
