my 95z is missing at low rpms when i lugg it in 4th, 5th, and 6th gear untill i hit 2 grand and it starts to smooth out. any idea on what this is? car runs fine when i take it through the gears fast or just cruising.

As said, list of mods would be helpful. Have you done any work to the engine prior to this happening?

pacesetter lts, ory, cai, and granatelli mass air flow. mail order tune by ion. just started doing it the other day. i dont normally lug it in 6th but i noticed when i was on the interstate and slowed down a lil in 6th and the rpms droped under 2 grand, i rolled back into it and it started to hiccup till the rpms got back up.

Vacuum? Do you still have EGR?

check for arcing!!!! at night idle your car and look under the hood for a light show around the spark plug wires.

no egr. i noticed it arcing one time but it only bothered the car at higher rpms

OK, a little more confusion, so you never have done this but when you did try to accelerate in 6th below 200 grand it lugged, Its been a very long time since I drove a stock car so I cant tell you if this is normal. of course if you have high rear gears and you just try and accelerate in 6th it is probably going to hiccup.
