The most i've been was 150mph almost pegged on a two lane highway. It got a little hairy towards the end.

With a 4.11 geared six speed and 275/40/17 tires and 4800 rpm in 6th gear that baby was MOVING, have no idea how fast, north of 160 mph I would have to guess. Can anyone calculate those numbers? EDIT top speed calculators say 174 mph.

151 on a 2 lane 15 mile straight stretch of road at 2am ... not a soul in sight. windows were down, and man it was loud! the cold air felt awesome though ... it is amazing how different the cars feel at that speed, so sensitive.

I've been around a buck forty-five (give or take a few) with the t-tops out. Fresh pavement at midnight, the highway was just asking for it.

one day on the PA turnpike i chased down a new GTO and we both hit a little over 140... i went from the west chester exit to the carlisle exit of the turnpike (about 80 miles or so) in just over 50 min... i calculated my average speed that day to be about 95 mph.

145mph myself with 4 friends in a 93 z28 6 speed... there were pop bottle in back and they were literally floating around the car lol! 135mph for about a 5 mile stretch racing a corvette, the windows were literally bowing out from pressure, not sure if thats normal or not!
