Default Racing Seats?

Was thinking instead of getting some leather seats that arnt worn (or have power options *looking to buy btw* id rather still have stock but **** $300-400 for a power driver seat?)

Maybe I'll do some of those racing seats off ebay my friend got some awhile ago they are really nice but I dunno how well they would fit in a firebird??

Good comfy race seats will run at least 300 bucks.
Junkyards are your friend
These are about the best but very pricey,

There is one that is three letters, most of there stuff is all red.

They are not to bad on price and you could take a nap in them even though they hold you tight...

racing seats... what a joke. They call them racing seats for a reason... A friend of mine had some(donno the brand), but they were awful... I'm a pretty average sized guy on the short side, and they were just terrible. But then again... I'm more of a cadillac kinda person, with big thick seats, with lotsa room.

DO NOT BUY SEATS FROM EBAY!!!!
They are a piece of sh*t I've seen 2 sets that were terribly made.

So, i purchased JEG'S GS-1 High Back Sports Seat

I cant tell you how much I like these seats.
I took my brackets off my old seats and drilled and bolted them into the jregs seats. They are very comfortable. Nice lumbar support.
I even have the tilt from my stock seats. If you have power seats that would be even better.
I think I paid $350 shipped for them both.

^Those look nice, I'm kinda bored with my factory seats, looking at some Corbeau seats maybe. I think I might have just butchered the spelling on that one.

i wouldn't trust the reclining mechanism in ebay seats to hold up in a crash. and they for sure aren't FIA homologated.

i wonder how long before the fabric fades too.
