We are in the middle of a LT1 build right now that we are looking for intake manifold choices for the final product, and right now it would suite what your looking for in a stock LT1 testbed as well. If you were interested, we could test intake as GM delivered it, and on top of the 409" engine we are doing for it when that goes in. We need power up to 6700-7000 rpm with the manifold we are looking for the final product.

We also have a 6 speed cam only LT1 thats making right near 350 to the wheels if information from that setup would be helpfull for you as well. Small cam, customers always looking for more midrange, and 3" LTx runners dont cut it.
PM sent.

Bolt-on gains are fine, but I am interested in results on a higher rpm built stroker.

Keep up the R&D - someone has to keep giving the lil old LT1s a chance .

I'm really liking the new parts coming out for the LT1 Fbodys!!!
1)Hopefully this intake.
2)Alternator relocation kit from LS1speed, that keeps the AC and PS but moves the ugly alternator down low on the Drivers Side and allows the use of unnoched valve covers.
3)Possibly a LS1 PCM coil per cylinder 24x reluctor kit to FULLY eliminate the opti spark.
My engine bay is going to look damn good for being a LTx Fbody.

It's a good time to be building an LTx!!!

Hell yea, Hogan's intake with a Direct port
If you don't mind me asking what did the intake manifold cost??
For the most part I feel like a FI motor doesn't have to have such an exotic intake, but damn they look badass.
Looks like some SBC heads converted as well, with a distributer out back, guessing no more stock PCM?

Ellis,
I noticed the words "Flow Tech" on the heads. Did you have Flow Technics do them? I know they are/were in your neck of the woods.

That's quite the step up.

I agree with GrnDragon. There's a lot of nice products coming out soon for LT1s that I look forward to seeing.

You will have to hit me in a PM with a Web site. I should not expand further unless I am sure.

The heads NO longer have that name on them and are at Mike's Porting service being done. They are 18* Brodix Spread Ports.

I am the third owner of the intake. It has never been on a runnng engine. I got a good deal on it. I called Hogans and they told me $6,500 to replace it.

The intake will be on its way to Nitro Dave's for the other Fogger kit to be installed I was NOT kidding when I said I was going to come out of the hole on a 300 shot and stack a 200+ shot on top of it going into second

okay, now I'm getting itchy for more details. Plus, this post was burried like 10-11 pages deep and needed some light.

Any progress or news on this?

We have sent a couple out for flow benching. Each one has a different level of porting. We should have them back this week.
