Aftermarket T56 gears
Im not talking faceplated or performance upgrades. Does anyone have experience with, what I assume to be, overseas manufactured replacement gears for T56s? They seem to be offered through a variety of vendors, yet I don't see anyone talking about them. The Tremec stuff keeps going up in price.

Because the T56 was a mass production trans its more common to do core exchanges for stock to stock. That comes out the best deal because of the warranty and they usually claim to have been refreshed.
Anything modified is a different game. The more you modify, the more headaches come with it. You might have to buy the refreshed T56, pull both apart, swap hard parts, then send one back.

Our input shafts are spot on. The Korean stuff is hit or miss from what I've heard. We going to have a complete line of Viper spec input shafts in about 2 weeks. We're also doing a 30 spline output shaft, a C5/C6/GTO 2nd gear in both 2.66 and 2.97 ratio along with a 3rd for the 2.97 C5/C6/GTO and a 58 tooth C5/GTO/C6 5th gear in both 1 piece and 2 piece cluster gear design.

Left is our brand new Viper spec input shaft with longer splines for twin disc applications and a increased shaft similar to the TR6060 and Viper T56.
Right is a stock Ls1 T56 input shaft.

We're working on a 2.66 gear. Hopefully we will have it in 2 configurations.
1) 2 piece design for pump or without pump
2) 1 piece design for pump or without pump
Looking like Summer of 2016 before we will have them available for retail purchase.

If you need a beta tester for initial parts I may be interested, depending upon when I tear into my transmission. Not looking for free stuff by any means. Ill be putting 24psi of a 76mm through a forged 5.3 in a 3500lb car.

At the moment, we only offer synchronizer sleeves with hubs without keys and springs for the non Corvette/GTO type units. The main reason for that is to ensure proper engagement and reduce the likelihood of any issues mixing parts.
