Default Are SPEC stage 1's any good?

Whats up guys? I just bought myself a 95 TA and love it. However, I can't drive it because after about a week of driving it the clutch burnt out. I plan on staying around 310 hp and a lil below 400 ft lbs of torque for awhile. I believe that is where it is with the mods of a ram air hood and k&n filter and a cutout. From reading the reviews I believe a SPEC stage 1 is what i want for what my car is gonna be puttin out. I want to put it in fast cuz im tired of seein it just sit in the driveway with the 30 day tag still on it. Does this sound like the right clutch for me? Any Thoughts?

I would go with at least the stage 2 clutch. That's the one I have and it drives just like the stock one.

i think i will most likely go with the stage 3. i just don't know if too much durability is a bad thing? what was the approx. durability of my stock clutch?

i want to learn more about manual transmissions. does launching and dumping the clutch mainly beat up on just the clutch or does it have a big effect on the tranny? i guess im askin what is the most common way ppl wear out thier tranny. i would think redlining yer car or putting it into too low of gear would be worst. i realize driving hard will effect basically everything.

A spec stage 3 would be a pretty good clutch if you have any mods planned in your future. A stage 1 or 2 would be if you stay stock for a long time.

Dumping the clutch on a launch and getting any type of traction will put a lot of stress on your entire drivetrain (clutch, tranny, driveshaft, rear end, etc.). Our T-56's are pretty stout though, I don't think I've heard of anyone breaking one unless they're putting down some major power. You will wear out your tranny quicker if you don't rev match when downshifting, but I can't think of other reasons why it would go out on you right now with it being so late at night.

...sorry to admit i didn't even realize my car had a stock T-56 tranny in it. hahahaha . Well that makes me really happy i have heard lots of good things about the T-56. Is it the same tranny that they put in an Aston Martin Vanquish or Dodge Viper?

I guess the stage one would work great because i don't plan on breaking 400 rwhp or rwtq, at least not for a couple years probably. Where is the cheapest place to get one. I see em at $400 and then the stage two is only 50 bucks more?

Lets say my car is puttin out 300/315 and i am really hard on a stage 1, will it hold up just fine?
