Default slave cylinder bolts...

where can I get the 2 bolts that attach slave cylinder to master? I'm doing A4 to M6 swap and dont have these bolts. GM dealer says they can only get them in packs of 10. I only need 2. Any help?

You could just buy the package of 10, it's probably only a couple extra bucks. I assume your referring to the two bolts holding the slave to the tranny right? You can also ask GM what the thread pitch and size is and pick some up at the hardware store. Just some options!

I posted the bolts you needed in the last thread you asked about the M/C bolts.

Getsom, Tried doing a search, and have been gone for past 2 weeks for army training. Just got back. Can't find the post. I went to GM today and they said they are M6x1xsomething with 10.9 hardness. why 10.9 hardness?

The correct sized bolts are M8 x 1.25 x 40.

10.9 is overkill. Just get whatever strength Lowes/HD has in stock (I think mine are 8.8).

By the way, make sure you bleed, bleed, and re-bleed the hydraulics to make sure you get all the air out.

ok, so 10.9 are NOT necessary, right? Didn't think so since piece on slave is plastic. Thank you btw.
