So your saying the v6 has same slave as 8, but a different master?

basically what I am getting at, is I have clutch issues, I have had hydraulic issues in the past before.

Was going to do the Master first to see if its my fix if not, then gonna do a aftermarket clutch and new slave. (Weary to pull the tranny just yet, just got over cancer and a few months of chemo, so I am still pretty weak)

But under searching, I noticed v6s have different part for the master, 98-00 and 01-02.

v6 01-02 Master at GM parst direct
12565144
V8 01-02 Master at Gm parts direct
12570277

v6 and v8 98-00 Master at Gm parts direct
12561178

Autozone has different parts as well.

V6 slave 00-02
12565145

v6 slave 96-99
015046288

Either way I think I am going ot get a Master from advanced, for a '01, and try it out, with the drill mod. Its looking like the 01-02 is an upgrade on the v6 as well. Possible slightly different, for the v6.

I think my next car is gonna be a Mustang with a cable clutch
