Yeah the tv I think is 399 or 499 at meijer. Very limited supply. Its a brand called gfm I think. A typical contrast ratio is 10000:1 on flat panels. Ive heard this one is 900:1 yes I said 900:1. You get what u pay for in this case

Onkyo's are the best! I have a stereo/av reciever for the TV, and a regular reciever in my room.

Yea, I was thinking about grabing a GPS but I really want an in dash Stereo with GPS. I decided to save my money and use the 100 or so bux towards the in dash stereo instead. I was so ready to buy one.

Hey Jonas, if you need an HDMI cable, I'll sell a brand new one for 10 bux. I bought two, one for my bedroom and one for the living room. My 42" is 720p but doesn't take 1080i.

Onkyo is a decent brand for the money but no where near top of the line...

also Klipsch

let me recommend a couple brands for top of the line

Speakers: B&W (Bowers & Wilkins)

recievers/separates: (McIntosh, Rotel)

also becareful with Onkyo, they have a lower crap line, and a higher end line...too bad it isnt separated with a name like poineer is...Pioneer or Poineer Elite

Where does the HDMI cable go? From the T.V. to my cable box right? What brand is your HDMI cable? I think my sister has an extra one, but if she doesnt then i will hit you up

Tell you what, Come to my house in my room, and if you can touch my Klipsch speakers without even wincing because of how loud they get, ill call them crap.

Your right though, Onkyo does have some low line stuff, but I know what to look for.

I agree 100% rotel and Mcintosh are nice stuff. B&W nice, but would prefer a Martin Logan in my million dollar dream. Klipsch are to me a mid brand like difinitive and psb which is what I run.

Damn, I never even heard of these brands. I though Bose was top of the line. Hell I'm pretty happy with my Philips Surround sound I bought from Target for under 200 bux.

Klipsch has some nice speakers. A friend has an old set of their studio speakers. Only place I've evern been where the volume level can make me wince without any audible distortion.

Their current consumer stuff isn't nearly as good, but I like my Klipsch speakers at home just fine. Onkyo receiver running them. Not high end, but plenty for me. I'm half deaf from too many years of Top Fuel anyway.
