Talked to Steve @ SJM (Bogarts) today. Those road race series wheels are pricey. Figure $2550 with billet caps. 17 by 9.5 and 11. Four weeks lead time. Hopefully, I can hang on to the loaners for a while. Otherwise, it's park the car for the winter. It's either the Bogarts or the CCW classics. Same money either way. Opinions? I'm leaning Bogarts for their resale. Have to take the measurements of the calipers and get them to Steve before he can get started.

Update from Memphis. With the Powerglide and a convertor that is still slipping, we managed to run a 9.654 at 142.67. The 60 ft time was a 1.446, and would of been better but the car stood straight up and had to be peddled to keep from ending up on it's top. On it's way down to the ground, it stood straight up again when it hit 2nd gear. Brent said he could see the whole hood from the starting line!
We're going to see if we can swap converters this morning. Bob

Thanks Darren, It was running very well but we all feel looking at his time slips that there is some left in it. Time to go to a real track and start the suspension adjusting. Mike has a tnt nitrous kit that we have yet to install. First we want a 10.9 all motor pass then we will start installing and spraying it.

Even if it was just boost, 500 hp with a roots style blower on that car is pushing it.

I appreciate that. I'm waiting for my local contract to get agreed to and ratified before I do anything. Hopefully, that won't be much more than a week or 10 days. If so, I'll need them for 5-6 weeks total. If you need them sooner than that, I'll be happy to return them and just park the car.

So what do you guys think: Bogarts or CCWs?

Why aren't you using the Boyds on the car?

Did you spray out of the hole on the 10.45 run (not bad for **** muncie track on cold rainy day!)?

Go to Darren's house and "borrow" his 9 inch, just to see how it fits

With 3.73 and a hard launch, it should be low to mid 1.4 short times on the juice.

Take the 10 bolt out this winter and sell it (Slightly used 10 bolt, no drag strip passes, out of 6 cylinder for sale)

Still using the 325-45-17 tires on back?

I would get some 15 inch for the rear, and use the 325-50-15 MT ET STreets, like the turbo Blue camaro has in town, his set up is nice, but you got to grind and so forth. I wouldn't spend all that $$$ on different rims to be honest, or look for some used ones in the for sale section at least first.
