Im really dissapointed we spent so much on the coach and got hardly anything from it. the money could of been better spent elsewhere.

Well, its almost impossible for a new coach to come in and completely turn a team around his first year. He will be able to recruit some good players and coaches now that he has been here. He is working off Mac's recruits. When you get a new coach, he also usually picks new cordinators etc as well. He has to work with the program from where it left off, kind of a shitty spot to be in. I dont fully agree with it all either, but I cant be too hard on the new guy, he did get handed a shitty hand. We have proved ourselves quite a bit this year (minus Texas) and have played better. Well see how it turns out, but yea, LOTS AND LOTS of money, and it all could have been put elsewere. Jamie Pollard wants a football program, and he doesnt care what it takes!

Definitly understand the professor deal, cant understand half of mine, the other 25 % just suck, and the other 25 percent are alright. Football brings the college sooooooo much money tho, it really is almost an investment, realizing it all doesnt go to education, but it brings ALOT of mula in.

Side note....
do any of you guys have a set of front drag skinnies. I have Stoptech brakes on the front of my car, and I am looking at getting some track wheels. If someone in the Des Moines or metro-ish Iowa area has a set that I could test fit, I would greatly appreciate it I can't even run a stock 02 speedline wheel with out a 5/16 spacer
Nate.

Not sure if you are going to be able to find a set of drag skinnies to fit over those Stoptech brakes. Maybe a donut tire/wheel from a GTO?

I would be up for cruising DSM but I am in Clarion at my GF's. I should have come and met up with you guys last night. Good luck finding a race in DSM though. You may find some people downtown crusing around. We need to all get together before the weather gets too bad. My car wont be driven much anymore until the spring though. Will take it out on the weekends if it is nice though. It is being stored at my Grandma's in DSM and I put it in the garage today .

So i cruised down to DSM because Bryan (V8bamf) had a mustang for me to race. He was suppose to race him on friday but the stang pussed out just like he did last night. So i went to the loop instead and beat the hell out of a 5.7 GTO. The only car that gave me a good run was a white debadged pontiac GTP. Stock pulley my *** on that thing!!

Them GTP's can be made to go 12's with a couple grand, them superchargers are reallly efficent with the 3800 seires engine.

Sounds like a good time man. Were there a lot of cars down there? Plan on doing it again before the weather gets crappy? My car is being stored in DSM right now at my Grandma's but I can get it out very easily . If you decide to head back down here sometime let me know. I will be up for it. Don't have much going on this next weekend.
