355z... You ready to help out with my winter project. I'm swapping in an auto trans to my car. Just need to get it built first. I also need to find a cheap roller to swap my other engine and 6-speed in. Found rear slicks and drag lites now i just need the fronts.
unstang, looks like you have one pretty bad car. Hope to see you at the track this coming year.

Thanks! It is fun, should be able to knock out some solid 10s on the nitrous, just need some timing out of my tune, so I can give it a full hit.

Im sure thats achieveable on the bottle adam.
Good news guys! it was the flexplate the broke. It broke around every bolt that holds it to the engine, and then a big long crack from one bolt to the starter ring. I only had my cell phone to take a picture with.

so i just pulled the motor and looked at the rotating assembly and there isnt a freaking thing wrong with it. pulled the msd opti and took it apart nothing burnt or broke. sounded like it was a rod knocking around the pan thats why i pulled it. but alas nothing even remotely close to a catostrophic failure. so im looking for ideas on what can make a car lose all power, want to die, and make it sound like the bottom end just fell the f*$k out. any suggestions are welcome *cough* 355z *cough* fastenuf* cough*. here's the stats on the ignition set up. msd 6A,msd coil, msd opti. accel 32lb for the fuel side. right now i got no flippin idea whats wrong with the thing.

lol rodney for the last time i dont have the money!!! (but if i did she would be all mine!!) 355 the engine is completely immaculant. nothing in the pan, not hitting anything, rockers are all on,pushrods are the comp drag race ones (not gunna bust them anytime soon) lifters are still nice and strong, flexplate looks brand new. going to have my dad take off the timing cover and check **** out. if everything is good there then its going to be something electrical or something electronic
