what you havent done the spare tire demod yet? im going the opposite way of all you guys. everytime i dragged at cedar falls i was weighing over 3850 lol. still pulled a 13.0 @109 with a 2.3 60'

Looking to install a cam this spring...nebody done it b4? I need to start going fast. Anybody wanna make some money? because i know i cant do it by myself.

Price of nitrous is getting excessive!!! Called Praxair(where I've always gotten it) They said $54 year lease and $380 to fill
So I called Airgas and they said $175 life time lease and $150 to fill. Neither one would sell me a bottle
What are you guys paying for nitrous these days?

I decided to go ahead and order from Airgas. If the lease is lifetime I guess after the initial cost the fills are only $150 for 55 pounds so thats not to bad.
I've got 2 ten pound bottles filled left over from last year the nitrous doesn't ever go bad does it?
Heck 2 bottles are probably all I need cuz I'm going to get the boot...lol. I talked to a guy who is a sponsor here about getting a roll bar done he said he was booked until end of february and to contact him again then.

I had a full 10lb bottle leak out over the winter, I guess the valve wasn't closed all the way. Not my bottle, so I don't know if the valve sucks or if I do...
Get that roll bar put in, then you make make more than 1 or 2 passes for your $30 entry.

Does this happen if you rev the motor in park? Doesn't sound like it from your description, but just making sure. If it did it stationary I would look at exhaust or tranny mounting. Since it sounds like it happens under load I would look at the torque arm. The metal popping sound makes me wonder if something in the rear could also be the culprit.
