Has anybody heard anything good or bad about the Cobalt SS's (minus the gay *** spoiler that would come off immediately) I driven a couple and they do run pretty good for a 4 cyl. I think one would make a great DD

Just a little FYI for those with pick ups, License fees are going up..alot. Culver is only fining those with pickups to raise money for road construction..oh well. The colbolts are pretty good DD, perform well and have very few issues.

you can..it's called a C6 Corvette and it's more fun then any Cobalt...
Granted it costs as much as 2 Cobalts but hey, you only live once so you might as well have as much fun as possible while you can.

or

or you can buy one from another enthusiast....

But I do understand if you want something that is front wheel drive or four wheel drive. I do know a guy whose dad has a 2001 C5 and drives it year round in Colorado mountains with tire chains

I have also driven my '77 Camaro and '86 Z28's year round in Iowa winters. That being said, I won't do that again. My Crown Vic with dedicated winter tires goes anywhere I want any time I want...

I pull 20-21mpg with 4.56 gears and thats at 75mph in the TA
I pull about 28mpg in the ol' IROC. before the fuel leak. and I think Jacob might have squeezed a 32 or so out of his Iroc with a 350, heads, cam and a 6spd swap with 2.77 gears

Gas prices suck, no doubt, but I guess we just have to look at it as the cost of having fun and driving some of the badest cars to ever hit production
