Blake Beast and i are on agreement on 1 thing from last night, there is probably more traction on US30 then there was last night at Muncie.
That's no excuse, thats the truth. When I stage the bike on Wed nights, the track is pretty damn tacky on my shoes, last night there was no difference between the track surface and the pit surface.

Good Gawd the new Camaro looks amazing! I saw my 2nd one the other day down here in Mississippi. It was Inferno orange with black stripes. Once the aftermarket comes alive for them, I can't help but drool at the thought of throwing a turbo in one and having a 800 RWHP spooling monster that looks wicked. If I only had the money

Is anyone thinking about getting one? Bever?

Ben, a big turbo on one of those would be awesome here in Fort Roll Race.

BB is looking at a new Camaro? Sweet. Should be up his alley, already has HIDs. Just don't let Compton drive it. LOL.

Knock, knock.

Who's there?

Rod.

Yea im gonna have to go ahead and agree, track sucked (either that or my driving does, or both...)
It was ridiculous that we only got 3 runs the 5 hours we were there, it was still fun and free (thanks blake)

What impresses me most is just how powerfull this thing is out of the box. With a few basic bolt ons like exhaust and cold air, you could be roll racing with 03 Cobra's and other mid to low 12 second cars.

...Now put some forged internals and some lower CR pistons in that monster with a nice sized Turbo and you've got the next guy who would have to roll race starting at over 100 MPH

Just sickening car... I really wish I had the time and money for one

What were your 60ft. times Luke? With 118mph, that's a 11.50s car with a 1.5X 60ft time easy.

1.9-2.1 60'

There is a lot more left in the 60, just need to learn how to drive.

First pass i didn't heat the tires enough. spun hard , had a 2.1, ran a 12.62 @ 117-18
second pass heated them up for 5-6 seconds, about 3 sec of smoke. pulled a 1.9 with tons of wheel spin. Left around 3800 and didn't ride the clutch out enough. Car fell on its face in 4th gear 12.6 @ 101

3rd pass, heated the tires about the same as the second, somebody broke down at the turn around on the back end of the track. Blake and i waited for 4-5 minutes, and then re- Heated the tires 1 more time lightly for about 3 seconds. Launched better, i felt like i got a big jump on it this time, but then the car laid down and i coasted to a 13.0 something around 80.

I have been thinking about what i did and what i could do, maybe i was overwhelming the Mickeys on the launch not allowing the T.A. to work. With the track as slick as it was, i should have marked the tires ( to make sure they weren't spinning on the rims)and dropped them to 14 psi and launched around 3k.

anybody with some pointers, i'd be willing to listen.

June 17th is the muncie track day. Try 17psi also in tires. You will get it. I don't expect you to pull the wheels the 1st time out. I would put an automatic in it if it was me! LOL

One of the dealers here had a NBM SS 3LT (?) in the shop the other day prepping it for delivery. It was GORGEOUS!

I would def. up the pressure to 17-18. Being a radial I really doubt your turnin the tire on the rim.
