If Drew knew the car had a junkyard motor in it, and the reason why it popped, and that it was detuned to live, and needed a new pulley/tune/things checked...WHY IS HE TAKING IT TO THE TRACK AND RACING IT???????????????????????????????????????

A better question. Why take your low 14 second daily to the track and risk breaking it, when you have a built 11 second car in the garage?

Word on the streets is he got stung by something on saturday (karma for bitching out last weekend?) so he wasn't able to go in to work on Tuesday (seems even more pansy-like after watchin Vic go down at 200mph and being back at work a few hours later). I tried to get a quote on a list of parts for a forged motor I'm building for a buddy of mine's soon to be turbo'd Z06, but he was of no help since he won't be back at work til tomorrow at the earliest

Scott, Blake looked at the tune and detuned it to make it as safe as possible, because that's what I asked for. Then took it to the track after fixing the oil leak. Thats when it ran the time, it was the free RPM track day. Obviously when you have a car this modded and it ran mid 14's the combo isn't working. Hahaha.
So now, it's just sitting around waiting for time to get looked at and fixed for daily driving duties and rust repaired. Blake, where do I get that POR-15 stuff?
Reason it went to the track? I paid extra for Terry's car knowing he took care of it and it was modded well, I wanted to make sure it had that extra performance. As of right now, it doesn't. We'll fix a few things on it and hope for the best, it won't be making any more passes until another free track day comes up. Even then, it will only get a pass if the RX-7 is down, which I hope it won't be.
The RX-7 has not gone 11's but should have no problems doing so once I get some sticky tires and...a driver mod.
