They both use the same bracket. His car is still in process. We are going to swap pulleys over the weekend to Reichard 3.75" (!!) to finish things off. Hopes to make 800rw through the heavy-*** 4l80. We shall see.

Yes, they use the same bracket, but the F1C has a bigger compressor housing. It takes a little more work on the inlet side to make it all fit.

Ben- all I am saying ppl drive there cars differently...ya I enjoy car shows and I am not building this car for the drag strip, if I want a drag car I'd build one. I'll be out no worries Ben.
Frost-txt the numbers when you get done on the dyno. The f1a just allows Nate and I to cut less on the car lol and should get me to the # I want! Also have you tried Black Ops yet?
Nick- I'll be running my dart 225 they are on there way up to dart for repair and then al will be working on then...bottom end will be forged callies crank rods etc either 370 or 403 haven't decided.

Good old Pump Gas It will use the Lonnie's Dual pump kit and a Alky Controls Kit of course!
For Rob's goal I don't feel we will max out the blower. Rob doesn't wanna build a drag car or cut the car up too much when we first started talking he wouldn't let me do anything to alter the engine bay but I told him if I can't use my plasma cutter or sawsall on his car I didn't wanna be a part of the build... I just can't wait for the day when he leaves me alone with the car... I make it clear a inlet with tons of room LOL
On a side note I got to "test drive per say" the welder ( Miller Diversion ac/dc Tig) I will be picking up after Christmas and its insane!! SO easy to use and for never using one before I laid down some pretty good welds on thin alum. Big money but will pay for itself quickly.....

Overall I am happy to see another FI guy around. You'll find boost is very addictive.
Are you going to be cutting your bumper at all to allow air to your FMIC?

I'm surprized Robbie is okay with the hacking of his bumper given how Robbie is on his clean car.
A big gaping hole is the absolute best thing for airflow to the FMIC though. If you were not going to go cutting into his bumper, I was going to reccomend making a small air dam like in my LT1 to help direct air to the FMIC. However the Trans Ams have less room than with the Camaro bumper, so again, a gaping hole would be more benefitial.

Maybe its just me, but I always hated the look of a cut bumper, even if it were to expose a nice big FMIC. But, again, it is the best way to direct airflow to the FMIC to max its performance.

This thread shows an F1c from the beginning on a stock bottom end engine making 644-ish and ending up just over 700rwhp through the big 4l80 with a 408/ETP heads. Previous high HP six speeds that have moved over to 80s have lost 115-145rwhp on this dyno with only the trans swaps. Each page of this thread has pics of the car I was mentioning, including how much cutting it took to get it in there: http://www.vadriven.com/forums/showthread.php?t=282270
