well you better go buy a ******* car then becaus jeff went 9.80 @ 138 in his procharged ta last fall at muncie... and yes thats the one everybody dogged last yr when he raced that fd on the highway(tranny problems). now its a stalled th400 and hauls the ******* mail. Now get your *** out of the dog park and buy another car already! Btw good to see you posting again
Its a pewter TA like mine that EPP put a Procharger on back in the day when they were open. His buddy has a GTO if my memory servers me correctly. Its been out to Bodigans before. Its a nice car also from what I remember too!
Jeff has the pewter trans am that was originally a lpe gt-11 cam car with 4.10 gears. He's from the south side of ft. wayne and raced ken's old vortec charged c5 back in the day. Actually epp rebuild the stock shortblock with forged pistons/rods, stock crank... car has as cast dart heads, fast 90 intake, nw 90 tb. Originally a 6spd, but he had alot of problems with it. So he had mcbride rebuild a th-400 for him and its working well... Jeff installed the charger himself and took it back to epp for the tune. Its a d1sc with upgraded frt mount ic. Around 14psi boost and made close to 700whp...that was with the factory ic's. the car has more left in it... its all stock suspension except for the moser 9" and tq arm. He is a nice guy and cruises around alot with chris(I think thats his name), the guy who has the 383 in the blue nova.
Yah Scott, I know him. Jeff Runion is his name. Nice guy and has a real fast car. It's a high boosted, big stall automatic, 28" tall tire T/A that runs very respectable numbers. I have talked to him a few times and have offered him some advise. I would like to see him and Kurt do a roll race on the street sometime. They a similar powered cars running same blowers, but Kurts digs alot harder on the street then it does at the track, so I think it would be a fun match up with.
