Talking Fort Lewis guys

Hey whats goin on guys, I just got my car back from Iowa a few weeks ago an i've really wanted to do a meet here at ft. lewis since ive been back. I know theres alot of Fbod an LS1 guys here, i figured since everybody should be on a 4 day pass because of veterans day, it'd be a great weekend to do a meet, (weather permitting of course)--just chime in an let me know what you think

sure do! Most of the guys in this region "including myself" go to Ellis. he runs Speed Secrets out of his home in Monroe, does great work. He usually hangs out in the Northwest forum and goes by the handle of 2fast4luv, can i ask what you've done to your car that it needs a tune already?

well if anything, i would get it dynoed an see what numbers you put down, thats a pretty good way to determine if its modded, you'll only spend about 50 bucks for a pull rather than $350 for a tune that you might not even need anyway, they're having a dyno day at Turbo Tech on the 17th of March, i think he'll charge $30 for a pull, however if you don't want to wait that long, i'd be more than happy to take a look at the car for you an see whats done to it.

I do not mind being stationed at Lewis, since my wife is from Olympia. I was with 1-23 INF as 11B (96-98) and MAMC as 91G (04-now)

Are you a 63 series. I am about to reclass to 63B since the Army is fazing out 91G.

mechanic in the army is not what you would think, pm me with somethings that interest you. i love working on vehicals, there is nothing more relaxing. but when you are limited to tools it sucks. expect long long nights in the motorpool. if you have ever been to 82nd they have ORS. its a month long 0500-22-2300 everyday. just from my experiances if you are a good mechanic, understand how things work in a real shop you will be very disapointed. if you want more info let me know ill be more than glad to assist.

I have been AD for 10 1/2 years. I know how it is. I think that when I was mech Infantry I almost lived in the motor pool. Then when I went to 82nd I ended up being the AMO NCOIC for 2/504 PIR

When I go 63B I will be SSG
