ive worked in Clam shells, there are pretty nice, an you can fit quite a few vehicles in them, sucks when its cold outside tho, because when you open those massive doors the heat escapes really fast

Our clam shell has two side doors. So we do not have to open the ends. We also have ac/heater units. I think we have the only clam shell on post with ac/heaters. I like the set up of our shop.

its missing quite a few things like the new blast doors and the push bumpers and the new turit sp??
all we had were the thick windows and 1/4" steel plate half doors in place of normal doors. besides that ours were normal soft skin hummers

most of the doors wouldnt stay closed and we would tie them shut with rope.

aggie that sounds about like the quality of the vehicles the Marine corps is handed ![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)
all too familiar, although the original pic is what we had for a few of our trucks (1114's) last time in iraq, and they were in the process of getting some newer turret setups
