Actually, the closest run was the last. OBVIOUSLY that EVO is fast as ****... I'd let off early, too. I wouldn't mind having the Z06, though.

well i work for a import shop and our evo dynoed 808 last year, now we have steped up and going for 950s AWHP. 9.4s 1/4 is goal. u can make any car fast. But the Vette was racing at 55mph best mph for EVO, right in power ban. and the Vette redlines in 1st at 62mph. so i am sure he was in 2nd gear, and low in 2nd. So you see, it was setup for that. But still the EVO is a beast.

the vid posted in that thread was against the infamous "black evo" and you see that happed there and that was with the vette at 6XX hp its got a lil more now .lol

I wish the Vette would have stayed in it longer...shifting aside he was doing alright considering the kind of tuned car he was racing (with the mods listed the Evo was probably putting more power down). More daring driver in the Vette and that vid might have had different results. It was already stated, but stock for stock would have been no contest anyway, so it doesn't change the fact that I still worship the Z06...keep the 800 horsepower Evo I'll take the stock Z06!

That's the same guy you always see racing his blue C6Z06. LankHoss is his handle on here...

Yep thats him.. Lankhoss.. Nice guy, I was in my car following while these two race.. and they raced about 5-6 other times (not on video) and the Z06 didn't have a chance at all.. good runs..
