Raw unedited video od supra vs. 800hp mustang for the doubtful Here is the raw video of the supra vs. 800hp mustang so that will clear up any doubts some of you seem to be having.
We (Scandalous Productions) are here in houston shadowing Marko in the TX2K3 in order to get some video for an upcoming DVD that will have Marko on of the most notorious street racers in chicago and other chicago racing scenes as well as other spots from accross the counrty.
About the Mustang , he came to our hotel , where all the supra guys are staying and wanted to run , we got the gear out and recorded all of that , of course marko obliged , he always does.
The Mustang was a carbed 347 canfield headed sprayed monster with a C4 making about 800 hp.
We checked his car out , he checked our car out.
The editing was done and sent back to our host site www.chitownracing.com where all his friends want it and are waitng for results and the such and the edited piece looks nice , there are a few videos linked on the site from what we are doing here , check them out if you wish.
But , there seem to be some skeptics , so here is the raw in car video from start to finish and out of the car video. i have been friends with Marko for many years and we would not put something "fake" out there to tarnish his name or record , not only on the street but also at the track.
I have heard many of your arguments , and some sound pretty good , 800 hp is 800 hp , right????But 1000hp is 1000 hp right.
If you look at the incar video , it will give you a better perspective as you can see the tach and speedo , as you will see it is hovreing at about 8 grand the whole time and if you recognize the speedo , you can see it is well past 150 mph with no tracktion throughout the first 3/4 or more of the race.
The race was done as the mustang owners wish , from a roll and in the in car video you can see him lining up next to marko as he was ahead on the on ramp , then he gets ready and then they go , the mustang of course left first as you will hear his motor , but no matter , he had no hope, you will also hear him get off the throttle when he could not beat the supra and you will hear him go through the 3 gears of his c4.
You will also see the car lengths being put on him on the outside view camera , probably about 8 to 10 or so , I would guess , maybe a bit less or more , but a considerable amount.
I would think this will let you all know there is nothing to hide , editing is to make it look good.I think a retractment is in order from the doubters out there.
Oh and by the way , about the high nine sec pass , he also made a 9.50 pass at 148 also on only marginal boost.Marginal because the new turbo was litterally only put on hours before he ran at the track , there is also a video of that on www.chitownracing.com
Ps. about the 50 psi , he is not making 50 nor 56, that writting on the inlet was just to remind him what happened where as the was a spike of 50 lbs during testing that almost hurt the motor , at 5400 rpm from 33 (Ithink) at about 3500 RPM,but everything is fine though.

Looks like the camera was mounted on the roll bar (I guess) in the Supra, and the whole time you can't see the Mustang in either vid. Just trying to say (no offense), you guys have two camcorders and in both clips you can't see jack of the Mustang...zip...nada...nothing. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />
But I know it's hard to plan these things and it would of helped if the Supra had a passenger to tape it but oh well.

Most BS race I ever saw, you were at least 10 car lengths behind him when you hit the gas, while he waited. Do it from a full stop, that's the only way to be even. Or go to a strip. And it is my opinion if you need to use NOS to have a fast car, then you apparently don't have a fast car. No offense...but it's motor or nothing. Lay off the NOS and see how well it goes.

You might as well say "you don't have a fast car if you need to use a turbo or a blower either." What's the difference?? They are ALL power adders. Ever see the Pro Mod class run before? Some of those guys run a 400+ shot rather than run a supercharger. Apparently they don't have a fast car according to your standards.

Re: Raw unedited video od supra vs. 800hp mustang for the doubtful the supra is fastr but HOWEVER!!! it sounds like the stang got in it and was right next to you and all the sudden let off...no traction? broken? whatever but its hard to swallow that an 800hp satng would lose that bad. my OPINON is... that both cars got on it froma roll the stang didnt hook once he sprayed and couldnt recover so let off.maybe im wrong but the video really isnt conclusive, i rank it up there with the Roswell alien autopsy

Your first viper victim , the 9 liter sprayed monser got broke off real good right ??? I mean we 1/8 miled him to death then let off to coast to a 9.85 at 116 because we didnt even have to accelerate after half track.
Seondly , at marginal boost and at 3600 lbs. your ringer viper did beat him , by 2 /100ths of a second , you can't even blink that fast. Good race though , like i said , we went out to race race cars with our street car.

What kind of car is this that ran low 8's with 800rwhp? Do you mean low 9's. 800rwhp is ALOT of power, but unless the car is a paperweight 800rwhp wont get you low 8's. Maybe high 8's. What kind of car was this. That mustang in the vids would be more like a low 9 second (9.1, 9.0) car if it had 800rwhp, and could put it down or maybe a high 8 second pass with 800rwhp.
