Default Brake Rotors

the stock ones on my SS suck...i wanna get some cross drilled and slotted ones but i dont wanna switch to huge wilwood or bear...just wanna slip em on in a weekend and not spend 1,500bucks...

Check the sponsers. You can pick up some Powerslots or Powerstop rotors for not alot of money. Then get yourself a set Hawk HPS brake pads and your set. Or, check out that online auction "place". They have nice stuff too.

I have PowerStops. They're a nice rotor. The only thing i dont like about them is the hub on their rotors is gold. Im sure i could polish the hub if i wanted to. Check my page for pics if your interested.

I went with Power Slots and Hawk HPS pads. I love them. I had Power Slots with EBC Green Stuff pads on my Mustang. Of the 2 pads, I prefer the Hawks.

i have powerslots and dont like them. warped them rela bad...i had a post and the irotors seem really nice, slotted and drilled....real nice lookin and a lot cheaper than powerslots...might wanna check into that

here is a pic of my powerslots, they look pretty good though...my warping might be from a bad slider on the caliper
