Depends on how much of a stagger.

I had 275/40/17 front and 285/40/17 rear without any issues at all. The difference in height was about 1/3".

I've also run 245/50/16 front with 255/50/16 rear without any issues. This is over 3/8" difference in height.

It all depends on the height difference of the tires. Just make sure the tires you go with are the same height, and you shouldnt have any problems.

The factory suspension isn't set up for staggered wheel sizes / weights so all you'll wind up with is no ABS and cartoon handling.

Why do you want to do this, anyways?

See my post above. I had neither of these problems with a 1/3-3/8" height stagger.

3/8" probably isn't a big enough difference. If the stagger is larger, than you can run into problems.

I'm sorry, I was confused. I thought he was talking about running staggered tire/wheel heights i.e. 26"/28" front to back like a drag racing setup.

I agree with your observations on tire height.
