ABSInop and ASR

ABSInop and ASR
Both these lights came on today after I had to hit the breaks real hard. They have been on for the whole day already, but everything feels normal. I have searched, but still don't see anything that might have caused this, besides possibly a sensor being out.
Any ideas?
I kind of like the idea of having ASR off though

Sensor would be my first thought too...but that doesn't mean much. Did they come back on AFTER you turned the car off and then restarted it?
If so:
I would try disconnecting the battery for a minute or two, then starting the car back up and see if you still have the light on. Also, you could try pulling any codes you may have.
The only time I've ever had mine come on is after the car is on the dyno, but a mile or so of regular driving turns it off.

the reluctor ring is on the carrier. When you press on the brakes it presses down on the axels since you have abs.Your going to have to open up the rear end and see whats going on since you said you checked the connections.Take it to differential place or where they do rearend shop.

To get to those ABS ring gears, he only needs to take off the rear wheels and brakes and its right there.
Peace,
Craig.
