Default will i have to retune my car????

Well, right now i pretty much have ur basic bolt ons like: LT's, ORY, Fast 90, CB and tune... making 370rwhp on dynojet
For now i am thinking of removing the ory and raplacing it with my stock Y pipe and Cats... just temporarily until i buy a catted Y, ory is just too loud for the area where i live (goddamn cops )

do you think i will have to retune my car??? and how much whp should i expect to lose??? and will it fit my pacesetter LT's?
I will get a catted y in the near future...

thanx guys

I don't think it would hurt for a little bit untuned..My car is still untuned and look at the times it's running in my signature.

The stock Y-pipe won't bolt up to the long tubes..it would have to be cut and welded, and that would be a pointless waste of time...

damn it.... thanx for the advice... btw what would be a better choice? Put some magnaflow high flow cats 59959's on the ory or just buy a nice catted Y????

in the end, i have to end up with some cats on the car

Have a look at that. You might be able to search on here and see if someone has one for sale for cheaper.

If you have Long tubes, the stock Y-pipe will not work. You'd have to put the factory manifolds on as well. Typically with LT's you can give the car a bit more timing, so with the factory manifolds, you might need that retarded in order to prevent KR. I'd save the money, skip changing everything out, and just get a catted Y-pipe.

To answer your tuning question, it will run a bit rich with cats. Probably around .1-.2 or so more, due to back pressure. You will be fine.

I went a while untuned, but I deleted the cats. You should have some codes with the 02's reading funky which will make your car run lean but its not so much that is makes a big deal.

And like the others have said, those are some damn impressive rwhp numbers!!
