Everyone still game for tomorrow? Is 6pm set in stone or do yall want to meet a little earlier? Just figured we could get a little more daylight. And if you guys can come up with a race date a little farther out I might be able to make it. I have to put in for days off on the weekend a while in advance.

Chris, march 6, 7, 8 isn't far enough in advance? It's two weeks out. Figured that would be plenty of time for anyone. Guess not. I'm off every other weekend at the moment so you can figure it up on the calendar when I'll probably be planning next and I or we will try to get it up ahead of time for you.
On a side note, who's planning on going to the LSX Shootout this year? I know it's early, but I was looking on the events forum and it looks like guys are already making reservations. I'm probably gonna make mine tomorrow. I know I planned on it last year, but I didn't have any vacation. I got plenty this year and may have enough car to compete for once. Probably do True Street and Index or just one. Don't know just yet.

I will be going to the Shootout if I still have a job then. I made my reservations about this time the first year and stayed at the host hotel about 2 miles from the track. I waited til the last minute this past year and almost never found a place to stay.

They just posted the host hotel today I think. So there may still be rooms tomorrow when I call. I'm cool with sharing a room if anyone else is to save on some money unless the old ladies are coming then I understand. I think mine might go, but don't know for sure yet.

Hmm...I might be down for the Clyde Fant deal... but I agree that it needs to be 4 or 5ish for daylight purposes. I say someone pick up Hilton and put his Z on a trailer so we can all stand around it and talk about old memories...like that time he twisted his driveshaft in half, or the time he won the burnout contest at Tilley's...

Scott, what does your car like for air psi? Just curious. I got the DR's on there now.
Yea, I swapped exhaust and put the PS pump back on mine today. I'll be going to get it inspected probably tomorrow. We don't have a nearby track so I have to get mine back drivable. Like Josh said, we got you covered if you break and we have plenty of room to haul extra parts and things.

LOL i remember when i put my SBC blazer in the burnout and tried to pop the tires but they stopped me when the tread came apart and i didnt even win. A older guy had a backfire through his TBI full size truck and he won it.
As far as tomorrow i dont see why the guys that can come early just meet up around 4:30ish and shoot the **** while waiting on the rest of you guys to make it. We need to figure out a set time though if we are gunna make a cruise so we dont just keep waiting and no one else show up. If you cant make it out until after we leave the parking lot feel free to call me and see where we are and see if we cant swing through and swoop you up. My number is 751-2348 and the name is Shane so save it incase you ever need some help with something!!!

I was having the same problem. First pass I got a new best on motor at 11.66 @ 116 with a 1.63 60ft. on 275/40/17 Mickey Thompson drag radials. Ran the car 3 more times and it wouldn't hook for nothing. I seen your car but never got a chance to come over and speak. That black C6 vette was a beast, it went 11.11 @ 130 with nothing but a cam, ported intake, tb, and full exhaust.

OH, wanted to mention to you guys...
So I went down home this past weekend, drove the Z from Shreveport to just south of New Orleans. The numbers don't lie. I got 33.5 mpg on that trip.
That's what you call a superior Greg McBride tune.
