Before you pull all of that back off, I would atleast look through the oil plug hole and make sure the pick up tube is not to close to the bottom of the pan and not allowing it to circulate. I say that cause I remember you saying it was bent a little, but you didn't say if it was up or down.

Ill do that first. How hard is it to drop the k member? That might be easier if i do have to pull the pan off of it.

It's not hard. You have 6 bolts (3 on each side) that go along the subframe. Take the front one out on each side and then run it back in maybe 4-5 hand turns then take the back two on each side completely out. This allows the k-member to tilt backwards and let the pan slide to the rear. Before doing all of that you'll have to take out the motor mounts bolts, disconnect the steering shaft, disconnect the bottom of both front shocks, and suspend the motor with a chain, hoist, cherry picker, whatever will work. It sounds like alot but it ain't and it makes tons of room. You'll be able to jack the motor up about 3 inches and the k-member will drop probably 3-4 inches. Enough room to get ratchets, wrenches, and arms in there if need be. Makes it alot easier to torque the bolts also. You should be able to rent a cherry picker from any parts house. They may even deliver for you if you ask.

I think ill just do it like i did last time. All i had to do was pull the trans, y pipe and the pass motor mount bolt and jack the motor up in the front and rear, then i cut a 2x4 to fit between the block and k member for it to support the motor and just go to work. It took 15 minutes to put the trans in last night, the reason it took 2 hours to get it out last time is because the converter bolts were stripped and i pulled the trans with the converter still on the flex plate which ='s a PITA. Now its just 17mm bolts so i wont have that problem. I think i can have the pan ready to pull in about 2 or 3 hours and just wait till sunday night before i remove it and cover the car.

Damn that's an ugly post.

Cody and I had a good time last night at Steve and Carrie's. I'm sure everyone there will vouch for me when I say, "I'll kick the **** out of an oil pressure sending unit!" My arms look like I've fought Wolverine. It's a good thing I heal quickly.

I'm gonna be at the same meeting place at the same time as last time. Chaz I have a scanner with me so if it doesn't go off I can turn it off and maybe it won't come back on. If it's just something like the AIR it won't hurt anything anyway, but we'll see exactly what with the scanner. See whoever is going at the LeBossier around 10am.

Ok gates don't open until 1pm tomorrow to I guess we can just meet up at the same spot around 11:00 and leave around 11:30-11:45.

Cody can you notice a difference in the car just from the intake and the throttle body? I know I did. Just wondering how you like it.

Still waiting on chad to call. I called but no answer. I sent him a text. Last time we spoke we talked about 11, no earlier than that though. I'll update later.

Do any of yall have a section or two of straight exhaust pipe? Might be putting some boost on it soon.
