If none of you know a killer flood ran through the mountains around alberts pike this morning between 2 a.m.-4 a.m. Alot of the people could not get out in time and hit them while they were sleeping. The camping area is completely changed. Right now the death toll is at 20 with many not found yet and truthfully they don't have a exact amount of people to look for because the camp grounds are open to the public in alot of places without having to sign in. I don't wish this on anyone but my wife and i talked about all the people that camp in tents that did not have a fighting chance to get out.

I feel for the people that have loved ones lost up there. I just can't beleive that much water came down that quick....i have camp'd there all my life and was just a few miles from there 2 weeks ago. I'm afraid the camp site and trials will never be the same again.

Yea, you guys want to talk about counting your blessings? My daughter left for lake Greason for the weekend yesterday afternoon. When they got there they were having a fishing tournament there and they couldn't find a place to setup, so they decided to go on to Alberts Pike. Well they got there around mid night and could not find an open camp site so they decided to go back to Greason to a different camp. I guess someone was looking out for them.

We didn't even know anything about a flood until the father of the girls family called us today about 11 and told us they were all accounted for and ok. Man, I can't tell you how glad I was when I finally got ahold of her on her cel!

There is two families from here with some dead and others missing. We have friends that know some of those that died and are missing

Those families that lost loved ones are in my prayers. Many of us around the Ark La Tex love to visit, camp, and canoe the Alberts Pike area. Glad to hear your daughter is fine Chris, my son his girlfriend and a large group of friends were heading out Friday evening for a weekend of canoeing up there. They changed their plans after hearing of the tragedy and headed somewhere else. I've always been told that something like this could happen up there, now we have seen it. Many of us old timers know this could happen, but with it happening in the middle of the night they just didn't have a chance.

Well i decided to call it quit's on the 12 year project and picked up a 99 camaro. Ive got some nice plans for the car and its a decent car as it sits now. Got the rally car running and taking it to a friends hunting camp and going to see how well it does on his 400+ acres. It needs a new set of plugs so im going to stop and change them out on our way. Ill be sure to get some good footage.

The Camaro is a heads/cam/6.0 built motor with stock crank with beefed 4l60 with a stall and yes my civic was way faster then this car. But it just needs some more goodies and it might get there.

Mike, your have only had ford and honda through the time ive known you. Chevy would be the dark side lol. As for the camaro being faster, you have the material now to do such a thing but you would have to modify it. The camaro will go as fast as the civic if not faster spending a third of what it took on the civic. You have a PM BTW.

Shane I had a 95 LT-1 Z-28 while you were still in school probably 6th or 7th grade it was my first playing with a V8 car. I didnt like the car at all and sold it. Since then ive owned 3 mustangs and 2 camaros so its not the darkside for me.

Is anyone here good with ac on my car? I am having some issues and dont really know what I am doing when it comes to hvac. Me and steve played with it a little but with no luck. If nobody here can do it I am putting it in a shop and really dont like taking it to shops
