Default Forgive me for the non LSX build...

Had to share somewhere though. The car is currently under the knife, should have it back early next week. XP Racing in OKC is doing the build (same place that built the T/A). I'll update it as they update me.

The car:

The list:

Plate system with 15lb bottle.

Digital progressive controller with TPS activation and windowswitch.

Switch panel.

Remote opener.

Dedicated fuel system.

Nano.

The progress:

*Custom Nitrous Outlet dual plate system.
*15 lb bottle.
*Competition NANO System (supports up to 550hp).
*Custom Bottle Mount.
*Remote Bottle Opener.
*Custom switch panel.
*Nitrous Outlet Dedicated Fuel System.
*Dual Purge.
*Nitrous Outlet Progressive Controller.

The first thing I did was make the lines for the plates. Because the Viper uses dual throttle bodies, the lines must be exactly even and centered to insure the nitrous and fuel hit the cylinders at the exact same time.

I made a template for the bottle mount out of cardboard and traced it on to a sheet of plywood.......all the edges were cut at a 45* to insure a flush fit.

Here are the bottles mounted on the plywood......I have to get everything mocked up before I carpet the board.

Then I drilled access holes to run the switch panel wiring....
I'll keep it updated!

Thanks, I'm excited! I'm hoping somewhat that we can control the torque spike with the progressive, if so, the car will get every bit of the 250's, otherwise it'll be limited to the 200's because of torque. Bone stock GTS' on the 200's make ~620RWHP and 890RWTQ, much more torque and you're pushing the limits of the motor.

you've got one of my exact favorite cars, a Blue 97GTS with CCW classics

Should be fun with the added hit also.

Everything has quick disconnect connectors and so the system is completely removable (should Reza ever decide to take it off the car).

Back of the switch plate:

Quick disconnects from the switch plate. The wires that run to the front of the car are on one connector, and the wires for the rear are on the other.

We mounted the dedicated system using rivits, they provide a much cleaner look than sheet metal screws.

We also drilled a hole in the firewall to run the nitrous feed line from the cabin to the solenoids.

Me either, I just hope the clutch holds. They are suppose to, but we'll see. I'm not talking myself out of needing a clutch, just want to see what it does on the dyno!

Very nice! I'm definitely curious to see how it does. Are you going to run it at the track once it's complete? What are you going to do for traction? I'm also curious to see if it loses anything NA on the nitrous tune.

Totally badass Trust! I dont think you will ever have a problem posting non-lsx stuff here with your history. Cant wait for numbers and track times.

A little update, they ran the line through the car pretty nicely, it runs under the intake so all you can see in the engine bay is the plates, the solenoids and a tiny bit of line. All they need to do is install the progressive and wire the standalone and it is ready to test. After that it's installing the VEC III (engine management, plug and play mostly) and it goes on the dyno.

i dont make it up to the city super often but ill definately make a trip up there to see this thing on the street.

im am sorta curious tire wise as well because ive heard those vipers get nasty with some juice and make monster torque as the shot goes up.
any plans on a tire for everyday driving and still hooks decent when ya wanna thrash it a bit?
