if all you're doing is powering the solenoids with the relay and controlling the grounds through the NOS controller that should be fine.

I wouldn't do it. You are asking alot for one relay to handle 4 solenoids. Just get another relay.

It depends how big they are.
A 250 HP nitrous solenoid draws 10 Amp, fuel 2 Amp
A 600 HP solenoid draws 30 Amp, fuel 2 Amp

Typical relay is 30 AMP max. For something like nitrous I wouldn't use only 1 relay, because it can fail and cause big trouble

the two solenoids w/the highest amperage draw, NO and NX EXPRESS I believe are 25 and 30 amps just for the nitrous noids. I'm sure there are higher drawing noids, but I'm thinking 4 noids on 1 relay must really be working it. Myself, I would use 2.

I don't know about that 2 amp thing for a fuel solenoid. I had a friend who was going to drain his fuel tank by just hitting the nitrous button and disconnecting the nitrous solenoid. Well the fuel solenoid somehow got stuck open and kept pulling amperage. It burnt all the wiring and started a small fire. If it only pulled 2 amps you should be able to keep it open all day long.

I kinda lean towards also that a solenoid is not meant to be open like that for that long period of time and it started to get hot and build up resistance which in turn increased the amperage hence the wires melting.

The nitrous kit worked fine for 2 years until he did that.

I don't understand this... maybe there's a different failure that I'm not thinking of. If four solenoids on a single relay becomes too much and the relay dies, then nothing happens: not stage 1, and not stage 2. So what? Where's the big trouble?

Could you use a Tyco 0332002150 relay? 75 amps. Hella has a 70 amp relay, part number 7793037. That one's in the form factor everyone is probably used to.

If the relay contacts burn together from over amping, then the solenoids will stay on ,thats were the trouble begins. The relay has a magnetic coil that is excited with low amp 12V. and pulls the high amp contacts in, witch is silver, and the high amp can melt them together if over amped.
