good luck with that. I know it can be done, but I also know that it does have risks and you should be able and fully expecting to buy a new short block at the drop of a hat (or push of a button). I have N2O dry shot installed on my car right now, and have decided not to spray it because it spun a bearing ON MOTOR on the 1st dyno pull. Its ok, I will eventually spray it but not until I can afford it.
That being said, have you considered starting out small. Start out with a 75 shot, and then bump it up to 100, 125, 150, and then 175 (maybe less steps). This is how most people who do it. You also should be aware that you will need a fuel pump (boost a pump) not to mention 42 # injectors. Good luck, and nice choice with the dry shot.

Yes, I'm sure someone is running a 600rwhp car on stockblock. And yes, someone is running a 9 sec car w/just over 500rwhp on stockblock aswell.

I agree about bumping up the shot. There are plenty of times that shots yield larger gains than their ratings. A 150 shot would be safer on the stock bottom end, and may get you where you want to be (or very close).

This is in reguards to this mans thread as well. I heard that even with a 85mm MAF, bigger injectors and lets say 150ish dry... The 85mm MAF is basically maxxed out CFM wise at/around 450 on motor, to where its a tuning issue trying to introduce 150 dry through the MAF even with a large fuel pump and injectors. Has anyone ever heard of this issue? Was i lied to? Also, should you descreen the 85mm MAF when doing a sizeable dry shot?
Good luck with a dry shot. If you tried a wet 175 you might do it. If you have a stock tranny and rear better have a tow truck for the ride home. A 150 dry shot is risky, no way with a 175. Back in 1999 I ran my car with 150 wet shot on stock everything ran 11.70's. The 175 shot was to much for the trans.

You should speak to your tuner.
I make 410 on motor,stock maf, and spray 175 with a dry kit. It's all in the tune/tuner. No problems with the maf / scaling it.
My car with H/C and 100 shot just made 585/592. I used a NOS 90mm plate kit. The car did 440/400 on the motor. So it gained way more than advertised. Also what mods do you have to your fuel system ? I have a racetronics pump and 42# injectors and I am out of fuel. I wanted to try a 150 shot and go for 650rwhp but I need another fuel pump.

my kit is a single stage halo kit with all the proper saftey stuff
simply put this is no budget project im prepared to buy a new shortblock in the future but i am tring to get an idea how long i can expect a 150+ shot on a already strong h\c car will last
i will be pulling atleast 6 deg timeing and shoot for a afr of 11.2-11.5
only bad part i guess is it has to do it on 93 octane
btw i have a wideband in the dash too!

I dont see you having any problems with hitting the 600rwhp mark, but i don't see the bottom end holding for very long. You might get lucky and get a good amount of runs out of her, before you decide to change out the block. Or maybe on the first hit the engine says "WTF" and just takes a **** on you. I believe with the proper amoutn of fuel, and a wet 150 you should be able to surpass 600rwhp. Have you check out the Dynotune A/F shut off safety switch, seems like a pretty cool product if your spraying and your A/F takes a dive.
