Mike is the man for those who don't know...

442 for the final number today, Tom saw it getting a lil lean up top, might need a fuel pump soon...

Congrats Steve!! Those are some very stout numbers, especially considering you still have the stock throttlebody, no underdrive pulley, no cold air kit, and the dyno was cut short about 100-200rpm before peak for that cam. Get a new fuel pump and a few other goodies and I think you'll be looking at 455+rwhp. That's no joke for a stock cube shortblock.

Start saving for that new rearend.

Thanks man.

About the lean condition, that is all about the fuel pump not being able to supply enough fuel up top, causing it to lean out. Once the pump maxes out, all the tuning in the world can't bring it back to a stoich condition.

Sounds really good and that is impressive results, is the dyno a mustang like tmoney thought? Should be a lot of fun and your car looks really clean. Sounds really good in the video and good to hear the headers fit in pretty good. Would you reccomend them over some of the others or do you think it would be worth spending more to go with something like ARH or Kooks.

Mike this is another one of the projects I have seen pictures of, like the roll cage and everything with your car, that shows you pay great attention to detail; I like your style.

If I had the money I'd buy kooks, ar or even qtp headers.

Thanks guys! And yes I have thought about the possibility of a shop someday. This economy makes it difficult to even think about a venture like that, but I have been doing some projects on the side, like Steve's car, Joe's exhaust etc.. I welcome anyone that needs some work done on their 4th gen to hit me up with a pm and we can talk about it.

Anyone know of a good tuner down in souther Oregon? I am almost finished installing a ls1 into my 67 chevelle. I have the computer flashed, with a new harness. ls6 intake /injectors/t-body and a texas speed cam. I believe the specs are something like 116/220 525in 530ex on a 114lsa. headers, ls2 timing chain and the ls6 oil pump. Once I get it running I would like to have a tuner do his magic for me. Any help would be great. Thanks Pete
