Anyone seen the new pictures of the 2012 Trans Am???? I saw one on facebook that someone had taken at some sort of car show like SEMA or Autorama. I'll try and repost it or link it or something when I get home. Can't access FB from work computer.

theres gonna be no new birds or pontiacs, pontiacs dead. you can by a couple conversion kits that actually do it justice, Linginfelter makes a transam kit which looks kinda funky the best one was made by Tod Warmack, Scott Warmack and Kevin Morgan i am not sure if you can buy there ride but it looks good.
the first one is the car made by the three guys i listed

this one is the Linginfelter they are making quite a few of these and they have modified the design a bit since the first one pictured here.

The picture I saw was like the Hot Rod Magazine one. Smokey and the Bandit style. This was the first that I had seen/heard as I thought Pontiac was dead too. So I had to throw it out there to see what stuck to the wall.

Hey guys kinda a cool thing happend my good buddy's grandma passed away a while back and her husband collected and never sold any car he owned and he gave my buddy her grandson a 65 impala ss 4spd 34k original miles all these cars are in a garage and a big old barn so they are all in insane condition and i helped my buddy fix his rig up and stuff and helped his grandma out and family since i have known him but after his grandmas passin they are selling the estate and selling stuff and there was a 1967 caprice out in the corner of the barn that we stole the power steering off of it was kinda the ugly duckling and i didnt think much of it but a few months ago i was out there helping his lil bro out with his jet ski and asked him about the caprice and just looked at it and realised how straight and cool the thing really is. its straight no rust at all...its been parked dry and out of the elements since 1988..lol interior is perfect it has a 300 horse 327 in it any ways.. i asked travis my buddys lil bro about the car and he said they where thinking of just selling it for peanuts..so i said ask your mom and uncle about it and what they want for it. i kinda forgot about it for a while and two weeks ago i was talking to my buddies mom and she was like "hey so did you want the caprice"? i was like yeah? but i hadnt talked to you about a price and stuff what where you thinking? "how about you just take it?" free? lol "yeah we would love for you to have it if you want it"
so needless to say i have another project...a 1967 caprice 2 door hardtop its freaking sweet i have to sell my parts truck before i bring it home but i cant wait
it looks just like this car same color except it has the original hub caps and white vinyl top
