OK, I thought Friday night was vendor setup and it was a two day event. I'll probably have a T56 or two setup in Cody's ^^ booth. If you spot any other T56's there give me a shout, I'm still looking for cores.

Wow, you are giving 48 cents more than I would for that boat anchor.

I'll probably load the pickup Saturday afternoon and do the early Sunday morning setup. I just don't feel comfortable leaving my stuff out in the open while others are setting up only to come in Sunday and see some of my stuff sitting in someone elses pile. The swap meet opens at 8 am Sunday and vendors can start setup at 6.30 am Sunday.

Yeah I was kind of weary about that last year at the big one at the expo. I was alaways one of the last ones to leave because I didn't want people picking through my stuff while I was gone.

BTW - Mike - Brian (the guy that bought Brandon's clutch and has the Dmax's) came over last night and mentioned that he is still planning on you to rebuild his GTO T-56. Unfortunately this next month wasn't looking to good for him. So hopefully soon after.

And as for the truck, I think everyone knows it will have LSx based engine backed by a T56 at some point in the future?????

Looking at a 68' Chevy 1/2 ton longbed. It's just gonna be a driver and parts runner for now, nothing too spectacular. I might have Tim (SalvageZ28) throw some paint on it, original Hugger Orange of course. It might eventually be a car trailer hauler as well.

Here's a couple pics of the one I've been looking at for about a week. It's currently got a flat tire but the owner is getting it fixed on Saturday. I've already looked at it, started it etc... Runs really good with a GM 350 Target engine, 4bbl carb with a powerglide auto.. bleh.... The owner wasn't trying to sell it but I stopped and asked about it about a week or so ago. It turns out he's been thinking about selling it for about a month lol...

Sounds good, I was just thinking about that today.

Yeah I'd love to do a fuel injected LS 6.0 with a T56 someday. That'll be waaaay down the road though. For now I'd just like to concentrate on making it a good reliable driver so I can get rid of the GTI.

instead of doing an LS swap, you should stuff a 454 bigblock in there that woulod be sick and it would keep it old school. theres nothin like the sound of a big block chevy.

Yeah, I've thought about a big block. The issue I have with that is, for about the same money, I can make as much or more power with a cammed, fuel injected 6.0l and get 2-3 times the gas mileage. :\

Yeah I'm with ya on that. I'm still considering rebuilding the 454 and putting into the 64. If you get this truck, are you considering any upgrades? You know I have a few parts laying around LOL.

Hell Mike, lets do a Dmax with a ZF6 stick behind it. And crank that thing up to around 500 hp/800 ft lbs. LOL
