Yes indeed, it was. HP, weight and traction are the three critical factors when dealing with a clutch setup. That's why I reduced my personal rating by 100hp in an Fbody. A 400-500lb weight penalty will reduce the amount of hp it will hold, and vice versa.

I've had good luck with my LS7 clutch so far. Holds firm at the track with tons of passes on it and it's comfortable to shift on the street.

Mike is correct and remember I'm only boltons making only 350~ to the wheels and weighing 3400lbs. Welldone, your welcome to drive my car and see if you like the clutch.

Dang nice vette.... I am actually seriously considering selling my SS after the summer and waiting a little while to save up and get a c5....want to test drive one to see how much I like it. There is a nice pewter c5 at a dealership on e burnside with h/c I might go test drive next weekend if its not too wet out

Thanks for the input and offer to drive your car. I think I'm just going to go with it odds are my car will probably never be built, but if something changes and I do I can swap to a different clutch. My car is street driven and stock now and will be a ways down road before I can do anything. Although I may take you up on a ride/drive once its nice to feel the suspension you have.

Default Help finding fuel in Sprinfield

Can't find anything above 92 Octane in Springfield. Just moved out here and weather finally let me take my car out today. I'm on fumes after pulling through every gas station I've seen.
I really need 94, 93 will do, Any help?

There is a place here in Florence that sells race fuel, I guess you could do the math and mix it with the 92.

Nice!!! My VW will be paid off this year as well. Then I won't have anymore car payments, unless of course something catches my eye...... Lol.

My truck will be paid off this year too. Can hardly wait. Then all I'll have left is the Tahoe.
