The only issue with the ls6 cam is I am running l92 heads and I would like something with more lift and duration on the exhaust to compensate for the small exhaust valves on the L92.

better yet look for a LS9 cam=) They work great.

With the ls9 I would have to buy a new front cover and a few other things which cost about the same as a custom cam.

Just ordered my valve springs also. Now to order bearings and piston rings. ANybody know the difference between clevite (H) main bearings and clevite (P) main bearings? the (H's) are more expensive so I think they are for aftermarket cranks.

Yes, you'll need the H's for the larger radius fillets on aftermarket crankshaft bearing journals. The P bearings are for stock stuff.

So... Now I am only deciding on which cam and which piston rings. I am thinking I will know which ring I would like tomorrow but the cam I may have to talk to the cam guru on here.

I talked to total seal and they said to go with a gapless ring which is $90 more but I went with it and I ordered my cam from oregon cam grinders it is a 232/242 duration and .595"/.607" on a 114 lsa
