so what motor would you guys choose from the following?
blown 408
ls7
441 or 454?

ive been doing some saving plus i have some other funds coming from something else(possibly) so im considering getting a new motor for the old ss. let me know what you guys would choose out of these

Lol joe. You have been trying to figure out what motor to get like 2 years now. I thought by now you would of picked one by now.
Do the research on what route you really want to go and how much it's going to cost to get you there.

lol ya i know, but its actually a possibility that it might happen sometime soon tho. hard to figure out if boost is the way to go or not. id like to go iron block if i decide boost, on the other hand a large cube NA motor would be cool too but would not out perform a procharged 408. decisions decisions, im just wondering what u guys would ge with if you had the funds to do it

the big debate is iron or aluminum, if aluminum was the choice then id pick 441 NA

I would go LSX 427. That way I wouldn't have to worrie about maxing HP out of the block.

I would look into a block.that will support a 6 bolt head. I am reading all of the boost threads and the big power guys say they run the 6 bolt head.

Just picked up my car from Tom's shop. Had the tune adjusted. I'm pretty sure he threw some juice on w/o telling me because this thing pulls like a SOB now. Thanks Wong!

Ha! I did....kinda. I took my skirt almost all the way off this time. Don't rush me Charlie....I'm not ready to go all the way down on the pedal yet.

Well guys by the time I get back from Vegas my motor should be done then it will be build time.. But won't go in tell I get a DD first so hopefully I will get one real soon..

got bored today at work and started playing around on the lathe.

i hated the factory shift **** on my C5, so i grabbed a chunk of aluminum and went to town lol
