Yep, finally got that bitch to hook up on a couple runs at PIR last night and it felt GOOOD. Even lifted the left front tire on two runs. It was a nice cool fall night of racing and there were alot of cars there, probably 50+ I'd say. Thanks to Cody for showing me how to spot some good surface on the track. On that 11.03 run I actually backed up and moved over to get into a good "groove" at the starting line. Unfortunately we didn't get this on video with our camera, but I was told the left front tire got air under it. Still got some stuff to try on the suspension but it's getting closer to wher I think it should run consistently.

Here is my best run of the night, set a new PB ET and PB MPH on this run.

60' - 1.660
1/8 et - 7.111
1/8 mph - 99.22
1/4 et - 11.039
1/4 mph - 125.55

The video camera freaked out on that run above, but I do have a vid of the 11.09 pass that I'll try to upload soon.

And his driving skills have improved sinse you were last at the track. Better burnouts for max traction and reading the track as he stated above.

Thanks again guys. Weather permitting, I'll probably be down there again this Friday. I'm contemplating heading out to Woodburn on Saturday though. I haven't been to Woodburn this year and I'd kinda like to try it at least once before they close for the season.

What shifter are most you guys running? Pro 5.0? Anyone have the MGW? Thinking about possibly getting a different one, but still not sure which one would like to see what you guys think. Have heard lots of good stuff about pro 5.0 and mgw.

Thanks for the input, from what i have researched most people really like it, never have felt one in person so thought i would see what you guys thought. I have only heard a few negitive things about it, some say problems going to 3rd and self centering problems ever had any trouble with that. My car has the stock shifter in it. Was yours the normal stock one or the hurst and do you have a normal pro 5.0 stick or is it short one?

I've got a T5, but my hurst shifter seems to nail 3rd pretty good. Only complaint I have is that it's too tall, it needs a shorter stick to be just right.

Yeah that was me. And and thanks man. Next time you see me out there come up and say hi. Just let me know you're on this board so I can make the association.

Weather's not looking too good this week so I don't know if I'll make it down there again this weekend.

Mike

I've driven quite a few of the aftermarket shifters, including Pro 5.0, B&M, Hurst Billet etc... I like the Hurst Billet the best out of all of them and it's what I run on my car. Also got a Lou's short shifter stick installed, which I LOVE...

The pro 5.0 has been good to me! Not nearly as many misshifts compared to the stock shifter.
