it went 12.20 with a 1.85 60' with the old gears...def. needed lower gears to move the slicks, so im sure i can get it down to 1.65ish range.
not to mention i was only like 75% through 4th in the old 1/4 so now ill be well into 5th![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)
yeah, 4.71's and a full spool arent too fun on the street, but shitgetsit for sure.

I can hook you up with a Wilson tb if your interested, I'm going to be a dealer for them here shortly, your call of course I know accufab's are nice.
Not sure what rods your going with but I might be able to help with those as well, I know you have other friends that can get you some...LOL
If your going to be putting on a mini-tubing clinic

I'll give you a call or send you a pm here shortly. I need to eat some lunch lol....
Not really stuck on any particular brand of connecting rod, but they will need to be 6.100" long, not the 6.125" and the least expensive the better. This is going to be the winter "budget" build instead of the 427 that I really wanted to do. The forged rods will at least let me run some juice next year without the worry of sending a stock connecting rod through the block. ![Winky](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_wink.gif)
I think the Accufabs are actually made by Wilson/FAST so if you can shoot me some pricing. ![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)
As with all my projects, it will be well documented if I tackle the mini-tubs. I'm currently making my own "DIY Budget Drag Bar" and it's almost finished. https://ls1tech.com/forums/drag-raci...-sway-bar.html

Still gonna be fuel injected. The Vic Jr intake will have the fuel injector bungs, and the Accufab is still a throttle body, just has the basic design and style of a 4bbl carb, but they flow around 1100cfm. I'll probably go speed density tune and ditch the MAF also. Between those upgrades, should pick up a considerable amount of topend power,,,,, 20hp minimum with no other changes. At the power level I'm at right now, the stock L76 manifold becomes a restriction.
I figure with the intake upgrades, and lost weight on the car, there's no reason I shouldn't run 10.50 - 10.70's at 126-128 (in summer heat) all motor once the chassis/suspension is dialed in. That's the plan anyway lol....
Should be fun next year.![Thumb](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies2/thumb.gif)

https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...ng-cooler.html
but yeah, mostly stock...gonna dump it, prolly put in an s10 trans and rear end so i can actually go somewhere...but i wanna leave the 235 I6 in it...put on some split headers and a pair of 1bbl's...hotrod 50's style and then just drive the thing.
