Yes I think that could be happening, but I think maybe that I burned a piston.
My vac went from 20 to 15, the motor isn't steady at low RPM. I was in the middle of tunning a new supercharger when this happened. when I take the oil fill cap off
i feel puffs of air coming out. I have EFILive can I use this to tell what is going on?

OK
I have a stock 99 SS Camero w/ vortec super charger and borland exhaust.
If someone would look at my tune and tell me if it could have caused a problem that would be great.
I'll have to email it to you, as it is to large to upload.
Thanks

When I had a turbo, I blew the oil fill cap right off and burned a ton of oil when I trashed a ringland on piston. Were you under boost or heavy detonation when this problem occured?

The car has plenty of power.
is it possible that I blew a seal in the Blower and it is pumping oil down the intake?

If you are worried about a piston being toast, do a leak down test and it will tell the story. Also if you took screen shots of your timing or whatever tables are in question you will get more replies. Are you logging with a wideband?

I'm pretty sure you broke a piston. If you have oil smoke coming out the exhaust and a lot of blow by coming out the oil cap when you take it off, then you have a piston that's not sealing at all. Happens ALOT on FI motors when you get to much timing and not enought fuel. A quick compression test will tell you a lot. Start with number 7, it's usually the first to go.

That was what I am afraid of. Do you think I could just replace the bad piston or do you think I need to rebuild the engine? I don't want the metal particals foating around in there.

While you have it apart, might as well beef it up with some forged pistons and some new bearings. Going to need to be rebalanced with the new pistons. 14.7 is fine for the part throttle cruse areas, but WOT on a FI motor NEEDS to be around 11.5 to be safe. For timing, 16-18* WOT should be pretty safe also.

Worn exhaust valve guides / seals will make
a brief blue smoke on start only, with no sign
of internal problems (still can have good
compression, though generally this level of
wear is not going to just be seen in the
guides and not other rubbing elements).
If leakdown / compression tests aren't a
smoking gun (heh) then you can just live
with it until you foul out cats / O2s from
all the oil & metallics.

If you broke a piston like I did, you definitely notice power loss. Plugs will give you 1st indication where to start with compression testing. FYI it was #7 to no surprise in mine. If you want to stay boosted go with forged internals while motors out to save yourself a repetitive PITA.
