Default Bmr k member, moroso 20142, speed engineering 1 7/8 installed pics

Just wanted to show some pics of the parts together. I've been getting a drop in oil pressure on launch so I wanted to swap to a deep sumped pan. I installed a bmr k member, moroso pan, and speed engineering 1 7/8 headers at the same time. I chose the moroso 20142 with built in oil filter housing. I also used moroso 24050 pick up. The pick up needed minor trimming on the leg where it bolts to the main cap stud. I also had to trim the sides off the stock baffle where it rolled on the sides. I also shimmed the pick up down about 3/16 with washers to get the proper clearance from pick up to pan. The pan has no clearance issues with the bmr k member. The speed engineering 1 7/8 headers hit the oil filter on the drivers side. I marked it with a sharpie, pulled the driver header back out a couple times and had to dent them in until it had about 1/4" gap around the filter. The header was barely touching the filter to begin with. My old y pipe was on using pace setter headers with welded on 3 bolt flanges. These headers lined back up perfectly. So I just welded 3 bolt flanges on these headers. This pan is 7/8" closer to the ground with 7 qt capacity, with pf61 filter and the new headers everything is nearly even for ground clearance. I am also using the output on the pan for my oil pressure gauge. I used a 1/4" npt to 1/8" reducer with a 90 degree 1/8" to 4an fitting. Then a 4an line to the oil pressure sending unit. My lower control arms were seized on my factory k member so I took a chance on the ebay lower control arms. All seams well so far. I finished it off with a spohn bump steer kit.

Thanks man, was a lot of work, especially setting up the bump steer kit.

What did you go with it for? Looks like you still have power steering?

The oil pan looks really nice, except the oil filter placement is a little too close to the headers to my liking.

I think I spoke with you on the phone about this a couple weeks ago. Glad to see it all worked out!

Did this pan solve your oil pressure drop on launch?
