There is most certainly a 25th anniv. firehawk. There were 5 made. 2 ttops, 1 hardtop and 2 convertables. They were considered pilot cars for the upcoming comp ta production. They do not have the r6v option code (firehawk code) similar to the lt4 hawks, which also don't have the option code. Not many peole know that these cars were made. Which is why I goto every show I can with it, so that people get to see it. And I have definitely been told it is fake more than once. But I have all the documentation to prove it is real. I don't know how to post pics, but will email a pic if someone wants to post it.

Yeah, I kinda thought about that after I posted. I will try sending you pics, I have a new computer a didn't have my old pics saved to a disk so I don't have any jpg files of the car. I could scan them, but it would probably look like crap. I'll have to take some new pics during the week.
I was actually more interested in the other anniv. conv. to see if it was one of the 10th anniv hawks or possibly the other 25th anniv conv hawk. I have never seen or heard of the other one and we attend alot of pontiac events.

Noone has mentioned the 1993 Indy Pace Car Z28! Only 645 Camaro Z28 Indy replicas were built, with 125 of those used for parade duty at the speedway.

Definitely one of the wildest interiors (seats and door panels) ever to come from an auto manufacturer! Here' s a shitty interior pic:

Here' s one for sale too: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevr...spagenameZWDVW
Another rare *** car, that I can' t find any information or pics on, is the 1997 Dale Earnhardt Signature Series Camaro. It was black and silver, ala his race car. I' ve seen pics of one at a car show on the net in 97 or 98. I also saw one in an issue of GMHTP, but it didn' t receive a spot light, it may have been at a car show they were at.
I would love to find some more information on these cars.

I don't really care for the super rare 1 of 1 blah blah blah. Showcase cars not to be driven. I like the limited production runs, more so the anniversary ones:
89 TTA 20th anniv
99 WS6 T/A 30th anniv (I think my favorite f-body)
02 SS 35 anniv
02 CETA is ok
....and my 01 SS is kind of rare due to the fact they only ran 1/2 the production for 01's to get ready for the 02 SS 35th anniv ones. I think there was only about 3,500 01 SS's made. I know not super rare or anything so don't steal my thunder!
lol
Peace,
Craig.

If it's fairly rare and especially if it makes good power, keep it. Who knows what the next wave of collectors will want. It won't be much longer until the hard core buyers will have a death grip on most of the 60's and 60's rare cars and who know when the next big buyers wave will come??
Also, resto-mods might be a clue as to what the next buyers will look for.

Off the top of my head, I can think of a few "only one of ones"....
one 1998 Camaro SS in Mystic Teal -- jhappens to be a convertible -- was ordered as a pilot car -- sent to Milford Proving Ground.....white top, dk Gray interior.
one 2000 Camaro SS in Hugger Orange -- again, a convert -- again, ordered as a pilot car -- again, sent to Milford Proving Ground --
One 2002 Camaro SS WITH Sport Appearance Package -- happens to be a Navy Blue Metallic Coupe -- was accidently sent to Magna DeComa to get the Sport Appearance Package installed -- rather than SLP for SS hood and spoiler -- so it had the Sport appearance package put on - was sent back to Ste. Therese -- then sent to SLP to have the SS hood and spoiler -- was shipped to a dealer in the Los Angeles area...........

I believe that 99 1LE A4 HOSS is owned by someone here in Grand Rapids MI. I haven't seen the car in years. The kid raced it a lot and last I heard was still in the process of rebuilding it...some 3+ years after I first saw it.
BTW...nice to see you make an appearance here once in a while Scott! Hope all is well with your recovery!

I remember High Performance Pontiac reporting that in 2001, 2 75th Pontiac Anniversary Trans Am's were made.
This was unusual because the Pontiac 75th package was only available to regular V6 Firebirds or Formula's.
I'm not sure what the 75th T/A's looked like but two is pretty rare.
oh, and just to be clear, the 75th is referring to Pontiac's 75th year...not Trans Am. I've had that discussion too many times hahaha
