Is the Posi in the S60 any stronger than the ones offered in the 12-Bolt and 9"?

According to the other thread its a tad heavier than the 12 bolt, but lighter than the 9 inch. THe Ring gear is bigger than 9 inches as well, I forget at the moment.

I WILL DO MY BEST WITH ANSWERS...

The weight is between a 12 bolt and 9 ".

The HD posi is just as strong as the Moser or Strange 12 bolt.

The housing is a new unit designed by Strange.

I don't think there is a TruTrak option. I looked prior to the post and that why I did not list it.

So the main benefit is the bigger (stronger?) Ring gear?

When I talked with Strange Engineering I asked specifically about the Tru-Trac diff. for the 3.73 gear set-up. They said it was availible for the 35-spline axle unit, but not the 40-spline gun drilled jobber.

LS1 SPEED - What's with the price? I was quoted the same price for a single unit sale.

Also, maybe you could combo together a Strange Engineering Chrome-moly Drive shaft for this specific application, seeing how most would need to buy a new shorter drive shaft anyways. It's a stout peice, and it's inder 300.00 bucks... just a thought.

The prices above are retail as they say.

email for prices

The info I had from Strange did not mention the Tru-Trac diff as an option. I have emailed them again for more details.

I will also see if we can do the driveshaft deal too

I will be out of the office Friday. I will be in Sat from 9-12 and will do my best toget everyones email returned then.

thanks
