Another honda bites dust This is my first post here Bear with me... this isnt amazing win by any rate but anyways i was out for a ride to go to the store in walla walla washignton... take not that i ahve a passanger in my car and my ac is running... and i have a auto transmission... well anyways i pull up to a red light on the and this riced up honda civic or crx didnt get good look at it well it had vtech stickers all over it obviously add 100 hp to it... and then theres was the whiney exhaust he revs a few times... i looked at the girl and she says go for it. So the light turns green... the ricer runs off the exhaust shattering near by windows... i let him get a car length ahead of me i put my foot 3/4 down on gas... my car roars forward... drowning out his ghetto whine and pass's him i pull at least 8 car lengths ahead of him before i finally stop accelerating. I was at about 80 MPH the cops up there are terrible to i slow back down i could hear his roar from a mile back and he zooms past me like he was all that... yet another instance of a ricer biting the dust... hope this was milidly amusing. I guess i was lucky they was no secret nos sticker... or hidden neons or i woulda been smoked.
QUestion now... My friend has a Honda prelude and this guy is loaded his dad owns certa and he's part owner of pepsi in japan now he's loaded up his prelude... so he says so that it runs 400 hp to the wheels... is that even possible... should i be afraid of racing this rice rocket with a few mods to my car? And im sure that he's put 80000$ plus into that car... what specs could you get outta a 98 T/A like mine with that much money?

If I had $80K to blow on a car I sure as hell wouldn't spend it on a qualude! I'd at least get a supra or if I had connections in japan like his dad suposedly does I'd import a skyline, maybe the guy meant $8000.

if you had 80,000 dollars you could have two 98 f-bods close if not in the nines. put on a cam and some heads and smoke that ***. he is a ricer for sure. dont worry.

but i've heard of 360hp supercharged preludes, so if he has a turbo then 400 is not too hard at all.
with 80k i would have a 8 sec car, an f-bod even easier.

Race him seriously. If he making around 400hp on a motor of that displacement boost probably dosen't kick in till about 4k, and when it does he will probably top out the engine and blow spark plug tips into the exhaust resulting in a damaged turbine wheel and engine for that matter. I have seen it happen many times with small displacement engines and un-evenly matched turbo sizing. Who cares about $80,000 im sure he's lying. If it was truly fast he would not brag about how much was spent, rather just show you.
P.S. Tranny and axle problems might also put u ahead. Get H/C and Nitrous Oxide (TNT of Course)

A Prelude? Those things are FWD!!! If he has 400 HP run him from a dig...he'll never hook even if he has drag radials on up front!
I agree though....if he has so much money...why would he have spent it on a car that they stopped producing nearly 4 years ago that was a low 15 second car at best? Remember the rule of ricers....lie!
Kind of reminds me of the kid I met while shopping at CarMax. He worked there and we got to chatting a bit. He told me he has a 10 second Civic. I said wow...pretty impressive. What size turbo do you have? He said none. I said what did you do to the engine...he said different intake and heads....nothing else.......um.....

he doesn't need a huge turbo to eb making that power...this is the same engine you see on the famous "10 sec civics"...
of course the prelude weighs over 3000 pounds stock so..even if it does kick in at 4k...those things can rev 9000RPM no problem so that's barely a disadvantage.
race him from a dig, maybe he has 400flywheel. you should racehim regardless.

ok 400 hp in a prelude and for 80K he probably has a huge *** body kit, and every light and nick nack that pepboys has plus throw in a killer system, probably 18 inch rims and a triple stack wing. hell his car probably weighs twice what yours does!

hahahahaha. oh well. anyways if he had a huge rpm launch. im sure if he has 400 fwhp, he will snap his trans axles. but that is if he gets any traction. which i doubt will happen!!

Ghettofied See my friend has 20000$ in stickers... thats 200 HP right there... then he's got the secret nos sticker up the engine so thats 100 HP see he was telling me that imports will always beat domestics, i dont see how he comes up with this conclusion... and yes he's got a fat *** body kit that doesnt even look that great to start with it's like BRIGHT yellow. Oh and im sure he's got ghetto *** neons all over the mother ******... and probably 10000 in computer chips... just throw a glass of water on it, be like fricken electric chair And after all taht money he says his car is only pulling mid 12's on the QTR mile... and he's convinced that T/A's can get below low 13's or at least thats how he makes it sound. Says domestics are slow... WTF preludes do qtr mile faster then they get to sixty... he talks alot of but whatever what can i say... he's a die hard ricer

Hell the prices of stickers went up!! i hopped up a 1991 ford escort only ran me to 10,000 dollars and we hit high 11's low 12's (traction limited) in that mother ******!!
