My Z28 vs Ported Cobra

My car is heads/cam/100 shot. Cobra is a ported stock blower.

curious what did you put down on motor i expected that to be diffrent, i ran 3-4 pullied cobras with my cam only 415rwhp and they were races like that very very close with me or them pulling a tiny bit. pullied cobra usualy makes 460 and a ported one around 510 i would think of good set of heads would just about offset the port and add 100 shot and peace. although you did have a passenger

curious what did you put down on motor i expected that to be diffrent, i ran 3-4 pullied cobras with my cam only 415rwhp and they were races like that very very close with me or them pulling a tiny bit. pullied cobra usualy makes 460 and a ported one around 510 i would think of good set of heads would just about offset the port and add 100 shot and peace. although you did have a passenger

I have Trickflow 215's and my cam is a 230/236, .581/.581.
My car went 11.63 @ 119.7 mph on motor the only time I took it to the track with this setup.
I'm not big on excuses so I didn't mention it, but for those whipping out their score cards, the first run my bottle pressure started at 950 and dropped to 800 and then second run it started at 850 and dropped to 700.
We are going to rematch as some point with equal passengers and me having a full bottle (like I said, the guy is real cool and is definitely up for it). We'll also do a run with me on motor to show the difference.

As for cam only cars beating ported Cobras, either the Cobra driver can't drive for crap or the fbody was seriously light. I've run them when I was cam only and PSM ran them with his mild head/cam and there was no point at which the Cobras weren't pulling, except for the guy who couldn't drive, and he would still pull ahead of PSM in between shifts.
