This happened last night, 2 guys off our local board, i figured it would be of interest to you guys...
2008 Mustang GT - 5sp, long tube headers, H pipe, axlebacks, intake, tune
1999 Camaro Z28 - 6sp, long tube headers, y pipe, catback, lid
run was from aprox 35mph

LOL my mind was trapped in the mustang gutter, it has the standard off road y pipe lol.... you can hear it in the video the camaro driver hit the clutch as well as the gas on the hit... not sure why. They only got in this one run because its like pulling teeth to get a run set up. I was honestly expecting more out of the mustang. I would like to see a dig

i ran one as well with my full exhaust ws6 before the cam. i had 410s and he had 373s. both.. 6sp vs 5sp. he had a tune, intake, and UD pulleys(made the difference) as well. no tune for me. and i barely pulled on him. those 3vs wake up with bolt ons and a tune. of course again, if i had a tune i woulda walked ez. but respect to sleeperstangxx on this forum, his car holds its own

No. But It can optimize your power curves. I feel mine needed a tune. But thx for your input mr I have untuned listed as a mod? It obv does something if you feel the need to display the fact that yours runs high twelves untuned.

It'll give you an easy 2+car lengths in the 1/4 mile, which is the equivelant of 20+rwhp. Or do you think the smog tune your car has stock is the best thing out there? Maybe torque management is actually meant for ultimate speed and not there to keep ignorant non-gearheads from losing control of cars they never should have bought? Not to mention how it's used to keep week drivetrain links from breaking while under warranty.

CzActually i've seen bolt on cars pick up 10-15hp and 1.5 tenths or so with a good dyno tune, so your numbers aren't that far off actually. And I agree with the other guys comment about your sig, kinda makes you look like a hypocrite.

No, a tune will give me a good 10rwhp (15 tops) peak , with great gains in the midrange. The LS6 intake is where the bigger power gains are on a bolt on car.

Not gonna quote I'm on a slow *** iPhone. But a tune on a bolt on car with gears WILL make it run better. Period. And I said walked away not run away. And yes I will get defensive when someone says something retarded like a tune won't help. A tune damn sure helps a 3v. Ls1 nit as much but it will help
