Hey, if you guys don't want to be kicked in the ***** for having blowers, then I'd refrain the above type comment. My '04 and '07 were flawless motors and trucks, both had over 100k when I got out of them. They could be ridden hard and put up wet, then go again. My '09 went for 100k+ and is still actually going! but it did eat the lifters due to the AFM @ 33k.

Anyone for a 6.0 ford diesel? How many turbos do you want to eat? What about a sad under performing 4.6 or 5.4 triton? Bent valves and burnt up cams anyone?

Oh, and I'm still hunting for the 1st thread where someone is taking a stock bottom triton into the 9's.

Or let's ask the simple question of why do you find people with fords putting in GM motors and not the vice versa? I mean has ANYONE transplanted a triton 5.4 into a Camaro? I haven't seen it.

They're great motors, I'm not sure a 1/2 million mile motor, but more than a 1/4 mill for sure.

I have a soft spot for the classic Impalas. My dad had a 64 and my Grandpa still has the 65 SS that he bought brand new. It was the family church cat when my dad was growing up so it has some miles on it, but it is still original. I love that car.

Minus the AC going out twice, oil pressure switch, air bag sensor, and 2 sets of driver side exhaust manifolds developing leaks, I'm very happy with my 6.0L LQ4 03 2500HD. It has definitely been a work horse.

Truck has 73k on it now

I'm still trying to figure out why the fact that the Cobras and GT500s have blowers is considered a bad thing. I love my blower.

Yeah, I mean don't get me wrong, the car has been a lot of places, all the trophies on the back wall didn't just appear, but over the past 10 or 15 years I think I've seen it leave and actually go to a show or something 2 or 3 times.hard to get messed up when it never leaves lol

… Da Love Muhcheen…

Truly a great car. The Working man's Land Yacht. Just look at the size of the front seats. And the Aft Chamber is EXPANSIVE…
